Proice

How does proice work?

A special transducer (suction handpiece) is positioned over selected area of the body. Candidate may feel a firm pull where the suction handpiece is being placed. Its vacuuming action captures the fat tissues of the treated area, while the selective cryotechnology helps to cool it.

The fat cells in the subcutaneous tissues (under dermis) are mostly saturated fatty acids rich cells which are highly sensitive to the cold exposure from the device, while other contiguous elements such as blood vessels, peripheral nerves, melanocytes, fibrocytes, or poor fatty cells are much less sensitive. This characteristic allows fats to be selectively eliminated without damage to surrounding tissues.

Over the next two to four months, the crystallized fat cells will be broken down and naturally eliminated from the body.

How many sessions are needed?

Depending on the thickness of the fat tissues and the desired result, 1 to 3 sessions may be required. Ideally, the interval between sessions is about 45 days.

What will the result be and when will it show?

Depending on the initial adipose tissue thickness, the average percentage fat loss will be 20%. Some results may be visible after 15 days, but usually a period of 6 weeks is required for the main results to show. This will be the point of time to determine whether another session is necessary.

How long is the application?

According to the size of the treatment area, it may be necessary to perform more than a single application to cover the whole area.

For instance, two applications may be needed for abdominal area, one application for each "love handles”, and two for lower back . Each application will last from 15 to 20 min, depending on the thickness of the fat tissue.

Who is the ideal candidate for proice procedure?

The ideal candidate is not the obese patient, but one who wants to reduce fat around specific areas, such as on the abdomen, flanks, lower back, arms.

What does the patient feels during and after the session?

The procedure is not painful. A slight pulling tension can be felt close to the treated area due to the suction effect, followed by an intense cold sensation around the area, mainly at the beginning of the procedure. After the session, there will be some redness and numbness on the treated area which can last a couple of hours after the session.

Are the results definitive?

The fat cells are eliminated by the body's natural metabolism. With regular exercise and diet, the long term results should be sustainable.

Pressotherapy – Detoxification & Lymphatic Drainage

Pressotherapy

Pressotherapy is a painless, non-invasive detoxifying treatment. This is a revolutionary process that promotes the body’s natural functions and is a technique with a physiotherapeutic origin, widely used in vascular treatment for the drainage of the lower limbs. It is an excellent means of treatment for oedematose cellulite in the lower limbs.

Pressotherapy treatment is applied by means of trousers, sleeves or a girdle.  A computer controlled compression system inflates individual sections of a special multi-chambered garment, forcing toxins and fatty deposits into the circulatory system.  This enhances extra-cellular fluid clearance, increasing venous flow (blood flow to the heart). The toxins are then naturally flushed by the body through the lymphatic system.  It’s a great alternative to liposuction.

Pressotherapy is used to:

  • Duplicate the action on the body of massage
  • Repress the blood through slow and progressive pressure
  • Lessen telangiectasis (capillary distension / swelling / expansion)
  • Lymphatic drainage (alleviate oedema or swelling of the leg)
  • Provide immediate leg comfort and lightness
  • Assist in kidney function (poor filtration and a hydro saline imbalance, can lead to possible accumulation of large quantities of fluid in the tissues
  • Assist in healthy heart function (problems can lead to tapered oedemas because of an inadequate pumping effect)
  • Assist in premenstrual oedema (oedema during menstrual periods are linked to the fluid-retaining effects of oestrogen and progestin.  Pressure therapy during the periods quickly solves the problem.)
  • Improve poor skin tone and reduce bags under the eyes
  • Improve loss of muscle tone in immobilized patients, the disabled and the cachectic

Other treatment benefits include:

  • Immediate relief and comfort for heavy legs, water retention, cellulite, and poor circulation
  • Body shaping and profiling
  • Weight management
  • Pre and post liposuction treatment
  • Reduces localized lipolyticoedema (fatty deposits)
  • Effective lymphatic drainage
  • Relieves leg pain and swelling
  • Helps prevent venous stasis (stagnation of blood flow in veins / capillaries)
  • Helps prevent deep vein thrombosis
  • Improves blood flow and oxygenation
  • Provides athletic performance enhancement

Electrostimulation

Electronic muscle stimulator (EMS) units use continuous electrical bursts aimed at particular muscles to force them to contract and relax. During muscle stimulation, the body sends blood and oxygen to these areas and increases production of endorphins. Electronic muscle stimulator units are beneficial in a variety of medical and cosmetic applications.

Indications for use of electrical stimulation.

Electrical stimulation may be used for many different applications. The most commonly used applications for electrical stimulation include: controlling pain; controlling inflammation; decreasing muscle spasm; healing skin incisions; healing tendon and ligament injuries; healing bone fractures; healing nerve injuries; increasing muscle strength; increasing muscle contraction; and enhancing delivery of medication through the skin.

Electrolysis

Process

Electrolysis uses electrical epilation to permanently remove hair. A practitioner delivers electricity directly to the hair follicle by sliding a solid hair-thin metal probe into each follicle, causing localized damage to the areas that generate hairs. The power is started at the lowest setting and then turned up until the hair comes out easily.

Effectiveness

Electrolysis is recognized as giving complete and permanent hair removal by the FDA. It works on all hair colors and types. However, as it targets hair follicles individuals, it is not usually suitable for removing hair from large areas.

Regulation

Electrolysis is regulated in many states, meaning that practitioners require training and an official license to offer the treatment to patients.

Side Effects

The side effects of electrolysis may include redness, swelling, drying and an increase in ingrown hairs.

Multiple RF Frequencies & Vacuum Therapy

CORE“technology deploys heat using multiple Radio Frequencies in 3 different treatment modes that target different tissue depths, from superficial layers of the skin to the hypodermis. The 4th mode - multichannel mode - creates a stronger, more accurately distributed thermal response that travels through all skin layers.

The Reaction™ system combines CORE™ technology with vacuum therapy to initiate three different processes: deep tissue heating, mechanical stretch and mechanical massage.

CORE™ technology deploys heat using multiple Radio Frequencies (RF) in three different treatment modes that target different tissue depths, from superficial layers of the skin to the hypodermis. The fourth mode - multi-channel mode - creates a stronger, more accurately distributed thermal response that travels through all skin layers.

Along with the benefits of an effective cellulite treatment, the deep heating of subcutaneous tissue initiates a mechanical stretch in the skin that induces the production of collagen, stimulates fibroblasts to enhance collagen secretion and enhances improves the elasticity of the septae, resulting in a significant side benefit of skin tightening!

The addition of Vacuum Therapy further intensifies the treatment by facilitating deeper tissue penetration to increase local blood circulation, promote lymphatic drainage and induce lipolysis.

The result is a minimized appearance of lumpy skin, improved skin texture and a reduction in circumference reduction.
